Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Brazil was USD 3.5bn in April 2021, compared to USD 1.6bn in the same month of 2020, reflecting a net inflow of USD 3.3bn in equity capital investments. The net inflow of intercompany lending, on the other hand, stood at USD 251mn in the fourth month of 2021, compared to USD 472mn a year earlier.
