Poland's economy expanded by 10.9% y/y in Q2 2021

Poland’s real GDP expanded by 10.9% y/y in the second quarter of 2021, non-seasonally adjusted data shows putting an end to the 4-quarter long series of annual declines.

In the previous quarter, the economy contracted by 0.9% y/y. The flash estimate of Poland’s Central Statistical office further reveals that the economy expanded by 1.9% q/q, accelerating from a 1.3% q/q growth rate in the first quarter of 2021.
