Real GDP in South Africa increased by 4.7% q/q
Real GDP in South Africa increased by 4.7% q/q annualised in Q2 2021, which is a slight acceleration from 4.2% q/q annualised in the previous quarter.
The annual growth rate is much higher due to a low base effect and, staying at 19.3% y/y compared to a contraction of 2.6% y/y in the first quarter.
